SCD + The Barker Project: Bigger Stage, Choreography, & Sound!

Our last collaboration with Sarasota Contemporary Dance was so packed on closing night that we knew we had to bring it back! And this time, we’re going even bigger. To kick off SCD’s 21st season, Raíces y Vuelos, we are taking our signature "musical gumbo" of fusion modern jazz, funk, and R&B to the main stage at the Manatee Performing Arts Center!

Get ready for an electrifying shared experience where our live, improvisational sound meets dynamic contemporary movement in real-time. We have three massive shows lined up where the music and dance spark, respond, and transform one another on stage.
